Social Worker/Psychotherapist

Critical Trauma Therapy is a growing private practice providing client-centered Social Work  Counselling services as well as Naturopathy, Psychiatry, Psychological Services, Restorative Yoga, and Dietetics

We work with various population groups and funding sources including MVA, WSIB, EAP, and private pay

Position Requirements

Interest in working with clients who have sustained traumatic injuries, primarily in the Motor Vehicle Accident sector. Experience in MVA is an asset.

Opportunities for working with adult and/ or paediatric populations

Experience with using a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities - EMDR is an asset

Assess and treat clients virtually and in the community

Strong aptitude for report writing and attention to detail is a must

Develop and implement group programs and webinars

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and time-management and organizational skill

Duties:

Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to gather relevant information and data

Collect and analyze data related to clients social, emotional, and psychological needs Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings

Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families

Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate services for clients

Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed</li> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Qualifications:

Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
