Summary

MindSeed is seeking mental health professionals registered in Ontario; psychotherapists, psychologists or social workers to provide individual therapy, and/or group components. Both part-time and full time positions available.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing centre that uses integrative approaches including: Sensorimotor, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Expressive Arts. Position Description

  • Get training and consultation from leading trauma experts to provide the highest quality care
  • Deliver individual and/or group treatments to clients
  • Prepare reports and maintain client records as required by your respective college/association
  • Successful candidates will have interest and/or experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy for clients with histories of complex trauma, PTSD, addictions, self-harm, disordered eating, suicidality).
  • Remote in Ontario
  • Mon to Fri, part time to full time.
  • Start date May 2023

What you bring

  • Registered in good standing with your respective College.
  • Asset if experience in any of the following modalities - trauma-based, somatic, mindfulness, psychodynamic, DBT.
  • Asset - experience running DBT skills groups
  • Experience in providing individual and/or group therapy.
  • Experience working with diverse/marginalized populations.
  • Have flexibility in work hours/days of the week.
  • Looking to become part of a larger multimodal trauma-informed therapy team.
  • Experience working with stage 1, BPD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, in-patient populations, self harm, eating disorders, addictions, trauma therapy, simple and complex PTSD, young adults, adolescents.
  • Asset - fluency in a second language such as Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Farsi, Arabic, Bengali, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have or be eligible to have own professional liability insurance
