The Field Education Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination of field education placements in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs. Ensures that students are appropriately placed in field education sites, liaises with host agencies and field instructors, and ensures compliance with all protocols, including governmental, accreditation and University legislative requirements. The Field Education Coordinator will also support the vision, mission, values and strategic direction of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and York University, and contribute to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of high performance, respect, trust, collaboration and continuous improvement. embraces diversity and fosters inclusion.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

Bachelor of Social Work Degree. Minimum three (3) years of recent and relevant social work practice experience. Experience as a field instructor and supporting students in an academic unit would be an asset.
