Family Service Thames Valley is currently recruiting experienced counsellors who would be interested in working flexible hours, including evenings, as an independent contractors.  In this role you will be contracted to provide Community and Employee Assistance Program counselling in our offices, located at 125 Woodward Avenue, London, Ontario based on your time and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in social work or related graduate degree in counselling with at least 3-5 years of clinical experience;
  • Registration with the OCSWSSW or equivalent OR registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) is required;
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical counselling;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Keen understanding of EAP supports
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and ability to learn data management systems in agency;
  • Flexibility to serve clients during daytime and evening hours
