The position of Program Manager for Forensic Mental Health will provide an exciting opportunity that oversees the clinical operations of a program (inpatient and community based programs) that provides treatment and rehabilitation to clients to assist them in their transition back to the community. The journey of our clients to become citizens of our community with the balance of safety is an exciting opportunity. Providence Care is situated on picturesque grounds on the shores of Lake Ontario in Kington in a state of the art facility that was completed in 2017. The physical environment of our facility has been built to be progressive to enhance and support the therapeutic care of all our clients.

Reporting to the Operational Director, Forensic Mental Health and working in cooperation with a comprehensive inter-professional clinical team, the Program Manager will be involved in developing the program through quality improvement initiatives, staff development, engagement and building a team that can tackle the evolution of care provided to our clients.

We are looking for a Program Manager that will bring a strong understanding of mental health care, a passion for exciting system changes, and an individual who will bring integrity to all they do.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a Health Care Discipline, preferably at a  Masters’ level or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Current unrestricted registration with a relevant regulatory college

  • Five (5) years related supervisory/management experience in a Health Care setting, preferably in the Mental Health Sector

  • Certification in or working experience of Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management principles

  • Experience working in partnership with the Ontario Review Board
