Hope +Me -The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario and Toronto

 Hope +Me - The Mood Disorders Association of Ontario supports the recovery and healing of individuals and families affected by mood disorders and mental illness.  With our extensive range of Peer Support groups, recovery programs, and counselling we have helped many people on their journey.  Hope+ Me provides awareness, education and training, family and youth clinical supports, and recovery programs.  Through our own lived experiences, we honour a client’s experiences and help support their needs.  We so value our clients that our new name, Hope and Me, was created by and for those who seek us out.

Hope+Me -MDAO's Collaborative Care with Sunnybrook Hospital
In collaboration with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, we provide short-term, episodic psychiatric care and follow-up to clients actively engaged in other Hope + Me programs. Referrals to Hope + Me psychiatrists come from our Counselling and Peer Support teams. The staff psychiatrists prioritize care for patients and clients who do not currently have their own psychiatrist. As such, our staff does not see patients who are already accessing psychiatric care elsewhere and does not provide second opinions as to diagnosis or treatment.
