Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Disabilities Counsellor/ Educator to work with Mental Health Disability Services for this exciting opportunity!

Are you a professional within the field of Counselling and Disability? Do you possess at least 3 years’ of experience executing counselling duties? Are you familiar with disability related issues in a post-secondary environment? Do you take pride in your superior verbal and written communication skills? Are you sensitive to different perspectives and issues of diversity? If so, keep reading!

In this role, you will provide a broad range of services to students with mental health disabilities to support their post-secondary experience.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

MSW, MA or MEd in Counselling Psychology or equivalent. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess a minimum of 3 years (full-time) related counselling, teacher/educator experience, preferably in a post-secondary educational setting with students with disabilities.
